Job Summary
A company is looking for a Legal Proofreader (Remote - Contract).
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify the accuracy of audio records and ensure adherence to formatting guidelines for hearing transcripts
- Work collaboratively with a team of proofreaders in a fast-paced environment
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines for proofreading assignments
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typing speed of at least 55 WPM
- Proficient in Microsoft Word 2013 or newer or Office 365
- Access to a Windows-based PC running Windows 10 or 11
- Consistent access to a high-speed internet connection
