Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Liaison I, responsible for managing the loss mitigation process for mortgage loan borrowers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact for delinquent mortgage loan borrowers, handling inbound and outbound calls
  • Collect consumer financial information and assist borrowers in reviewing loss mitigation documents
  • Communicate loss mitigation approvals or declines and explain the foreclosure process as necessary
Required Qualifications
  • A combined 4 years' higher education and/or work experience, including at least 1 year in collections or customer service
  • Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Mortgage collections experience preferred
