Job Summary
A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Liaison I, responsible for managing the loss mitigation process for mortgage loan borrowers.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Single Point of Contact for delinquent mortgage loan borrowers, handling inbound and outbound calls
- Collect consumer financial information and assist borrowers in reviewing loss mitigation documents
- Communicate loss mitigation approvals or declines and explain the foreclosure process as necessary
Required Qualifications
- A combined 4 years' higher education and/or work experience, including at least 1 year in collections or customer service
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
- Excellent customer service skills
- Mortgage collections experience preferred
