Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Manager who will oversee Loss Mitigation functions and manage team productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor metrics to maximize productivity, efficiency, and compliance in the Loss Mitigation department
  • Hire, train, coach, and manage team members while ensuring quality control and compliance with guidelines
  • Analyze escalated accounts and provide reports on productivity and status updates for timely decision-making

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma and some college or technical training; Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
  • Seven or more years of mortgage default, loss mitigation, and short sale experience, with at least two years in a supervisory role
  • Expert knowledge of mortgage loan documents and compliance with federal debt collection laws
  • Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures, CFPB, FCRA, and FDCPA preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic internet searches required
