Job Summary
A company is looking for a Title Examiner for a remote opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs title examination and analyzes the chain of title for residential properties
- Abstracts and analyzes records to determine ownership, legal restrictions, and verify property descriptions
- Prepares initial title commitment documentation and resolves issues related to title documentation
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Typically requires 2+ years of examination experience in the state of Maryland
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and research skills
- Proficient with standard MS applications and company operating systems
- Knowledge of legal terms is helpful
