Medical Director - New York Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director for the New York Region.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee medical policy implementation and clinical program development
• Manage utilization review, quality assurance, and predetermination reviews
• Act as a clinical liaison to network providers and support medical services programs

Required Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in the Health Care Delivery System
• Active and current state medical license without encumbrances
• M.D. or D.O. with Board Certification in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty
• Post-graduate direct patient care experience
• Preferred: Previous UM experience with a Health Plan/Payor
