Job Summary
A company is looking for an Outage Manager to oversee complex planned and emergent outage events for gas and steam turbine systems in Michigan.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation, planning, execution, and closeout of outage events, ensuring all requirements are met
- Lead onsite execution with large teams, focusing on cost tracking, productivity, and risk management
- Support customer operations during turbine and generator testing and ensure proper documentation is maintained
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in the power generation industry, specifically with gas/steam turbine maintenance
- 3+ years of specialized experience in outage planning and execution for gas/steam turbines and generators
- English proficiency is required
- Experience with project management and planning tools, such as Primavera, is preferred
