New York CPA Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting and manage the Accounts Payable team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the monthly and year-end close processes and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and assist in the preparation of financial statements
• Manage the Accounts Payable team and improve AP workflows for efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5-9 years of relevant experience
• CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus
• Strong understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting standards
• Proficient in Excel and Netsuite preferred
