Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Underwriter - REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite all first and second mortgages in compliance with guidelines and policies
• Evaluate financial documents to determine loan eligibility and repayment capacity
• Monitor the mortgage pipeline and support management with audit and reporting tasks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of seven years of mortgage underwriting experience required
• Must obtain and maintain an NMLS license
• Detailed knowledge of secondary market guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Experience with loan origination systems and Microsoft Office applications
