Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve patient accounts by contacting third-party payors and patients
• Document account activities and maintain productivity goals while ensuring compliance with regulations
• Assist with special projects and communicate any issues related to account workflows or payment delays

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
• 1-4 years of experience in medical claims and/or hospital collections
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate various patient accounting applications
• Intermediate knowledge of revenue cycle processes, including insurance collections
• Minimum typing requirement of 45 words per minute
