Payroll Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Accountant to join their growing Payroll team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and process payroll transactions accurately and timely
• Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations and maintain payroll records
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams for accuracy in employee data and prepare financial reports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3-4 years in Payroll
• Experience in a multi-company environment
• Knowledge of federal and local employment withholding tax regulations
• Experience with Paylocity or similar payroll systems required
