Job Summary
A company is looking for a Pharmacy Claims Administrator to assist clients in increasing revenue through prescription drug funding.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize proprietary software to match provider specialty information with clinical data related to prescription drug programs
- Assign task statuses based on reviews to ensure compliance documentation is accurate
- Request additional information from physician offices as necessary while protecting patient health information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel and proprietary software
- Knowledge of prescription drugs and pharmacy terminology acquired through work experience as a pharmacy technician or in the medical field
