Real Estate Legal Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Counsel - Real Estate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal consultation on real estate initiatives and draft real estate documents
• Negotiate complex store leases and manage various aspects of real estate transactions
• Support executives and business leaders on real estate transactions, risk management, and compliance issues

Required Qualifications:

• J.D. from an ABA accredited law school and membership in good standing of at least one state bar
• Minimum 5 years of experience negotiating, reviewing, and drafting retail real estate leasing agreements
• Strong negotiating skills and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize
• Experience in managing a high volume of retail real estate transactions and working with national developers
• In-house experience preferred but not required
