Referral Capture 340B Program Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referral Capture 340B Program Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison between hospital, physicians, vendors, and other referral sources on behalf of assigned covered entities
• Review EMR and patient charts to gather and document pertinent information for outgoing referrals
• Perform data entry of all required outgoing referral details and establish a clear audit trail of outgoing referrals

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework preferred
• 1+ year experience working with EMR systems and 340B knowledge
• Knowledge of 340B, medical terminology, and coding (CPT, ICD9, HCPCS)
• CPhT preferred
• Experience working within an Electronic Medical Record system (EMR) and/or Electronic Health system (EHR)
