Rehabilitation Services Liaison

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Rehabilitation Services Liaison to support the reauthorization team in managing medical service requests for injured workers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between the clinical team, patients, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders during the reauthorization process
• Process reauthorization requests for injured workers needing continued medical services, particularly in physical therapy and rehabilitation
• Coordinate with the clinical team to gather necessary information for reauthorization requests

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in healthcare administration or related field required
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and rehabilitation services preferred
• Familiarity with insurance and reauthorization processes is a plus
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
