Remote Healthcare Scheduler

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Healthcare Scheduler Remote for Johnstown Primary Care Clinic to support primary care locations in Weld County, Colorado, offering a remote, full-time position with variable shift hours including some Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answering incoming calls from patients, registering patients, verifying and entering insurance information, and scheduling appointments
• Taking messages and forwarding them to clinical staff in the electronic health record
• Meeting required metrics related to the number of calls per day and average time spent handling calls

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

• Minimum of 1 or more years of customer service or related experience in a healthcare setting, such as medical office/clinic or hospital scheduling
• Experience in lab, medical transcription, medical assistant, or receptionist in a medical setting or other equivalent experience
• Ability to use technology tools to research and obtain accurate information to respond to customer inquiries via calls, emails, and/or instant messaging/chat
• Demonstrated ability to utilize computer and typing skills
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
