Remote Legal Scopist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote U.S. Legal Scopist (Independent Contractor).

Key Responsibilities:

• Transcribe legal documents and recordings accurately and clearly
• Scope legal materials by reviewing and editing documents for readability and compliance
• Manage tasks efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards

Qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum typing speed of 55 words per minute with high accuracy
• Previous legal transcription or scopist experience is preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word (2013 or newer, or Office 365)
