Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Accountant responsible for managing global revenue and COGS accounting in accordance with ASC 606.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare billing validations and execute revenue recognition for month-end close
• Review accounts receivable subledger and ensure accurate application of cash payments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve revenue and COGS-related issues

Required Qualifications

• Solid understanding of ASC 606 and GAAP accounting principles
• Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, Power BI, and MS Excel
• Ability to manage revenue, COGS, commission, and AR subledger reviews independently
• Experience in resolving tax-related issues with US state departments
• Familiarity with foreign exchange currency and currency translation
