SBA Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for an SBA Underwriter - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite SBA guaranteed loan products ensuring compliance with regulations and bank policies
• Compile data for credit packages and interpret analysis outcomes for loan approvals
• Evaluate loan applications, identify risks, and recommend exceptions based on findings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field with 1+ year of relevant experience
• Basic knowledge of commercial and small business credit underwriting and lending practices
• Understanding of C&I and CRE loan requirements, including financial statement analysis
• Ability to make sound decisions and handle confidential information responsibly
• Familiarity with related software applications, including spreadsheets and word processing
