Search Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Search Specialist to manage and optimize their Elasticsearch systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the Elasticsearch cluster for high availability and performance
• Develop custom queries and models to enhance search results and user experience
• Analyze search metrics and collaborate with teams to inform search strategy and improvements

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with Elasticsearch and semantic search in an ecommerce or enterprise environment
• 3+ years of experience as a consulting architect for search infrastructure
• Strong understanding of information retrieval concepts and search ranking algorithms
• Expertise in developing custom Elasticsearch queries and relevance tuning strategies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
