Senior Buyer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Buyer responsible for the procurement of IT hardware/software and related services.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate favorable prices and terms for complex procurements, ensuring compliance with procurement policies
• Administer purchase orders, manage supplier relationships, and conduct price and cost analysis
• Support and mentor other buyers while recommending improvements to procurement processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2-6 years of experience, or a high school diploma with 8+ years of experience
• Prior experience in buying tangible goods is required
• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations
• Knowledge in government contracts preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
