Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sr. Data Engineer-GCP to design, develop, and integrate high-priority data applications on Google Cloud Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Build large-scale data processing systems and data lakes optimized for efficiency on Google Cloud Platform
- Lead the design and automation of data pipelines, ensuring data transformation meets business requirements
- Research and implement process improvements and maintain professional knowledge in data engineering technologies
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline; Master's preferred
- Typically 5+ years of experience in data, analytics, or application development
- 2+ years of coding proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, SQL)
- Preferred experience with Google Cloud Platform services and big data processing technology
- Applicable certifications in GCP or Data Engineering preferred
