Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to develop machine learning models and analytical solutions for fraud detection and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop machine learning, data mining, and statistical algorithms to analyze large data sets for fraud and risk insights
- Collaborate with Cloud technologists to optimize algorithms for cloud environments
- Implement new data modeling solutions and integrate new data sources into existing frameworks
Required Qualifications:
- Education: ME/MSc in a related field or equivalent work experience; PhD preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of industry experience in a similar role; PhD with 2 years preferred
- Proficient in developing machine learning models and data-driven algorithms
- Extensive experience with Hadoop, Spark, and distributed systems
- Strong programming skills in Python (especially pySpark) and knowledge of SQL
