Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter, Employee Benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessment and decision-making on renewals, amendments, and add-coverage opportunities
- Collaborate with the Distribution team to deliver timely renewals while aligning with financial objectives
- Work with other departments and vendor partners on underwriting-related issues and best practices
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Group Employee Benefits Underwriting experience
- Experience with Life, STD, LTD, Dental, Vision, Accident, Critical Illness, or Hospital Indemnity products
- Bachelor's degree or relevant hands-on work experience
- Proven ability to negotiate and establish customer service skills
- High level of reliability, responsibility, and organization
