Senior Energy Market Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Energy Market Analyst (Remote Based, U.S.).

Key Responsibilities

• Support growth in North America by identifying customer use cases and shaping go-to-market strategies
• Act as a subject matter expert to understand customer challenges and propose solutions using Energy Exemplar tools
• Build and oversee production of energy market models using PLEXOS

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Energy Modeling and Power Market Analysis
• Foundational knowledge of energy markets and associated economics
• Experience with nodal power flow modeling and energy data sets
• Four-year degree in Economics, Electric Engineering (Power Systems), or Mathematics; advanced degrees preferred
• Knowledge of energy economic modeling tools such as PLEXOS, Aurora, or similar
