Senior Grants Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Grants and Contracts Analyst to support pre- and post-award activities for the Bloomberg Distinguished Professorships team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and support related to grant application procedures and manage grant submissions
• Oversee post-award processes, including award setup, account reconciliation, and compliance with guidelines
• Serve as a liaison between research units, central offices, and funding agencies while ensuring excellent customer service to faculty

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Four years of related experience in sponsored research and/or financial positions, preferably in an academic or medical setting
• Successful completion of the Research Administration Training Program is equivalent to two years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of accounting and budgeting theory and practices
• Thorough knowledge of external Federal guidelines/procedures for grants and contracts
