Senior IT Systems Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior IT Systems Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the technical infrastructure and ensure its availability
- Lead the resolution of issues affecting system performance
- Monitor processes and provide recommendations for improvements
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Information Technology, Math, or related field, plus a minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Alternatively, a minimum of six years of related experience may be accepted without a degree
- Experience in mainframe operations is preferred
- Knowledge of MVS, JES, CICS, DB2, and VTAM commands is beneficial
- Able to perform system shutdowns, IPLs, and standalone dumps
