Senior Payroll Lead
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sr. Payroll Lead to manage complex payroll processes in a multi-state environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process semi-monthly payroll for exempt and nonexempt employees across multiple subsidiaries
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and assist with audits and reconciliations
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and maintain payroll documentation
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of payroll experience in a fast-paced or public company
- Experience with multi-state payrolls for over 1,000 employees
- Knowledge of payroll compliance and state/federal employment laws
- Proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software, with advanced Excel skills preferred
