Senior Policy Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director - Policy to lead and develop its policy strategy for forcibly displaced people.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic vision for the Policy Department to advocate for the rights of forcibly displaced individuals
• Supervise the Climate Department and support initiatives related to climate displacement and advocacy
• Manage cross-departmental strategy development and represent the organization in external policy and advocacy spaces

Required Qualifications

• Law degree or master's degree in a relevant field preferred
• Eight or more years of immigration-related work experience with expertise in refugee law and policy
• Experience managing and supervising staff, including remote teams
• Demonstrated experience advocating for policy change and engaging with refugees and displaced populations
• Lived experience of displacement or refuge strongly preferred
