Senior Scientific Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Scientific Engineer to join their Weather Intelligence team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop cloud-based meteorological solutions using remotely sensed weather data
- Ensure 24x7 operations, data quality, and product governance
- Collaborate with meteorological engineers and data scientists to enhance integrated meteorological data products
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
- Strong software development experience with geospatial data formats (NetCDF, GeoTIFF, HDF5)
- Proficiency in Python and Linux scripting
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DataDog monitors
- Experience with Kubernetes and container-based systems is a plus
