Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Survivability Analyst to mentor student interns and enhance defense capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor student interns in the Applied Research for the Intelligence and Security Community program
- Collaborate with military stakeholders and academic partners to align analytical efforts with operational needs
- Drive innovation in test methodologies and prepare high-quality technical reports for senior leaders
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in ballistic testing or defense-related research
- Demonstrated expertise in live fire testing and survivability modeling
- Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes and test evaluation
- Proven ability to lead teams and mentor junior professionals
