Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior zTPF File Support Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and expertise for z/TPF File Support software and mainframe platform capabilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain the z/TPF mainframe platform, operating system, and database
- Provide operational support and manage tools for z/TPF database management and performance
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with z/TPF operating system, database, and associated infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of assembler and C/C++ programming languages
- Experience with z/TPF database management and related tools
- Familiarity with adjacent systems like z/VM, z/Linux, and z/OS
- Knowledge of modern z/TPF capabilities such as DFDL, REST, and Kafka is a plus
