Job Summary
A company is looking for a Database Administrator - Project Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide IDMS DBA support for application and infrastructure databases
- Collaborate with the Clemson Database Administration team to maintain test, staging, and production databases
- Optimize database performance in a z/OS mainframe environment
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with IDMS deployment and operations in a z/OS mainframe environment
- Proficiency in IDMS Network database creation, modification, and tuning
- Knowledge of IDMS security and ADS/O application structures
- Experience with COBOL, ADS/O programming, and IBM High-Level Assembler on z/OS
- Strong understanding of IDMS Perfmon and performance monitoring
