South Carolina Licensed Financial Nurse

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Forecasting Registered Nurse I to perform clinical investigations and support cost containment efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts clinical investigations of potential high-cost claimants and performs Excess Loss Medical Assessments
• Provides formal reporting and clinical summaries to underwriting, actuarial, and external customers
• Identifies and refers cases for appropriate care management and provides educational assistance for further research

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Associates degree in a job-related field or a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• 6 years of clinical experience or 4 years with a bachelor's degree in nursing
• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in the state of hire or compact multistate RN license
• Familiarity with the continuum of care and costly episodes in the healthcare system
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
