Staff Data Scientist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Staff Data Scientist to develop advanced machine learning models for credit risk areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities and collaborate to develop and improve machine learning models for credit underwriting
- Evaluate alternative data sources and drive proof of concept projects to demonstrate business value
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy models and present insights to leadership
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in unsecured loan underwriting with a Master's or PhD in a quantitative field
- Expertise in machine learning and statistical modeling methods
- Strong programming skills in Python and knowledge of databases and related tools
- Ability to influence individuals at various levels of technical and business leadership
- Highly motivated, eager to learn, and able to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment
