Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Accountant - Technical Accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical accounting research and prepare formal position papers on GAAP guidance
- Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
- Assist with month-end accounting tasks, including ASC 842 Leases and software development capitalization
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
- 4-8 years of technical accounting experience
- Detailed understanding of US GAAP accounting
- Experience with technical accounting memo writing and 842 Lease Accounting
- Bachelor's degree with Accounting or Finance concentration; MBA or CPA preferred
- Public Accounting experience preferred (transaction services or audit)
