Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Underwriter - TEMP.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrites mortgage loan files in compliance with guidelines and regulations
• Reviews loan data for integrity and monitors the mortgage pipeline for process improvement
• Collaborates with vendors and supports management requests related to audits and reporting

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred
• Minimum of four years of experience in a credit union, bank, or financial institution
• Knowledge of secondary market guidelines and some regulatory issues
• Compliance with Mortgage Loan Originator requirements as set forth in the SAFE Act
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with loan origination systems
