Job Summary
A company is looking for a Workers' Comp Indemnity Claims Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages lower-level, non-complex workers' compensation claims under supervision
- Determines claim validity, establishes reserves, and authorizes payments
- Communicates claim status to customers, claimants, and clients while adhering to guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of 1 year of industry experience in claims management preferred
- Knowledge of handling claims in TN, GA, and AL is a plus
- Appropriate workers' compensation adjuster licenses are beneficial
