Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist focused on medical drug policy oversight and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assists in development and maintenance of formularies, clinical criteria, and drug management processes
  • Serves as a clinical resource and drug information specialist to medical, pharmacy, and nursing staff
  • Receives and responds to prescriber and member pharmacy prior authorizations and appeals
Required Qualifications
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Degree
  • 5 years of clinical experience required, and/or completion of 1 year residency and/or Board of Pharmacy Specialties certification
  • Licensed in Tennessee to practice Pharmacy or eligible for licensure in Tennessee
  • Competency in compendia navigation and research
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
