Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct concurrent analysis of medical records to improve documentation quality and accuracy
  • Identify opportunities for documentation improvement and collaborate with healthcare providers
  • Ensure timely follow-up on clinical documentation clarifications and maintain accurate data input
Required Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing or health information management required
  • 2 years of related clinical experience or 5 years of acute care hospital inpatient coding required
  • RN or relevant certification (RHIT, RHIA, CCS, etc.) upon hire required
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and disease processes
  • Ability to analyze complex clinical information effectively
