Threat Researcher
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Threat Researcher specializing in Source Code Review.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research, analysis, and testing of vulnerabilities through assessments and penetration tests
- Perform vulnerability scanning of products and maintain knowledge of IT security threats
- Collaborate with team members to respond to alerts and assist in implementing security tools
Required Qualifications
- College diploma or university degree in computers or engineering, or 6 years equivalent experience
- Experience in advanced Web application penetration testing
- Knowledge of tools such as Kali, Nmap, Nessus, and Metasploit
- 2+ years of experience in Web-Application Development or Source Code Review
- Understanding of web architecture and common software security issues
