Underwriting Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Technician, Inland Marine.

Key Responsibilities

• Process new and renewal insurance applications accurately and timely
• Assist underwriters by communicating with agencies and handling routine underwriting tasks
• Perform data entry and issue policies upon underwriter approval

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; some college preferred
• Minimum of three years of related work experience in an office environment
• Knowledge of policy processing procedures and applicable insurance products
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software
