U.S. Licensed Senior Privacy Counsel
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Counsel, Privacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and advise on legal and regulatory requirements related to data privacy and compliance strategies
- Provide counsel on global privacy compliance requirements and collaborate with international privacy counsels
- Support privacy issues related to international data transfers, third-party privacy risk management, and regulatory frameworks
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in the United States
- 8+ years of post-qualification experience in privacy/data protection law, preferably in a multinational organization
- Strong academic credentials and substantive knowledge of US and global data protection laws
- CIPP certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals preferred
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a significant advantage
