Job Summary
A company is looking for a Vice President, L&A Transaction Risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee new life insurance and annuity reinsurance transactions, including pricing and risk assessments
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive transactional risk management framework and ensure compliance with governance standards
- Collaborate with internal departments and serve as a trusted advisor on risk and governance matters
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or a related field
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) with a minimum of 15 years of experience
- Significant knowledge of life insurance, annuities, and retirement products
- Applied insurance ALM experience and understanding of regulatory capital requirements
- Experience with complex actuarial models and programming languages used in actuarial practice
