Job Summary
A company is looking for a Vice President of Business Development.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and execute business development opportunities
- Define and execute the business development strategy focused on in-licensing and out-licensing
- Lead partnership and licensing processes, including due diligence and negotiation of agreements
Required Qualifications
- 10-12 years of experience in business development within a Pharma or Biotech setting
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, and/or MBA) with a strong scientific background
- Experience in negotiating and executing various types of agreements, including licensing and partnerships
- Comprehensive understanding of drug discovery and development processes
- Ability to perform financial modeling and asset valuation for business cases
