Job Summary
A company is looking for a Cancer Registry Team Lead to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze medical records and coordinate cancer program accreditation according to CoC and NAPBC standards
- Lead oncology-related meetings and ensure compliance with data submission requirements to relevant cancer registries
- Supervise and evaluate cancer registry staff and operations, providing guidance and support as needed
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Associate's Degree in Health Information, Health Sciences, Data Management, or a related field
- Five years of experience in Health Information or CoC accredited Cancer Registry
- One year of supervisory experience
- Certification as a Certified Tumor Registrar or Registered Health Information Technologist upon hire
- Eligible for remote work in specific states (VA, MD, DC, DE, FL, GA, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV)
