Virginia Licensed Network Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Network Engineer who will design, analyze, plan, and modify network components to support customer communication implementation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for the enterprise network, ensuring performance and health monitoring
• Respond to major incident escalations and serve as a liaison with various infrastructure teams
• Manage network solutions and vendor relationships while overseeing budget and technology improvements

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA in a technical or scientific field, or 8+ years of related experience
• 5+ years of experience in architecting and supporting large-scale cloud network infrastructure
• Network engineering certification such as CCNA through CCNP or equivalent
• 8+ years of Layer 2/Layer 3 network architectural design and engineering experience
• Experience with MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and Cisco networking equipment
