Virtual Core Software Backend Engineer
Job Summary
A company whose cloud platform powers fast, secure and scalable digital experiences is filling a position for a Virtual Core Software Backend Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Help expand our backend infrastructure
- Build systems to handle exponential growth in our existing products
- Lay the groundwork for exciting new applications
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Solid knowledge of dynamic languages like Python or Perl
- Linux/UNIX systems, both high and low level
- Experience with compiled languages: Go, C/C++
- Networking fundamentals, and an understanding of server applications and protocols
- Have experience and/or interest in SOME of maintaining and developing large-scale, production systems, and Globally distributed systems
- Have experience and/or interest in SOME of high-performance applications, clustered computing systems, high availability services, and streaming media
