Job Summary
A company is looking for a Virtual School Social Worker in Michigan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Virtual Counseling: Provide individual and group counseling through teletherapy platforms
- Crisis Intervention: Offer immediate support during student crises
- IEP and 504 Plan Collaboration: Assist in creating and implementing plans focusing on social-emotional needs
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker or Licensed Social Worker with School Social Work endorsement in Michigan
- Minimum of two years of experience in a school setting
- Experience in virtual or remote environments preferred
- Deep understanding of students' social-emotional development
