Job Summary

A company is looking for a Call Center Collections Specialist to provide phone service while collecting payments for medical expenses.

Key Responsibilities

• Place and receive calls to/from patients to collect payments and negotiate repayment terms
• Collect and document demographic and insurance information, using internal technology platforms to resolve patient inquiries
• Educate patients on the healthcare revenue cycle and follow compliance processes and procedures

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required
• 1+ year(s) of experience in a customer service capacity preferred
• 1+ year(s) of experience contributing to a team culture of learning and growth preferred
• Basic understanding of contact center processes and techniques preferred
• Exposure to the collections industry and healthcare revenue cycle preferred
