Workday Payroll Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workday Payroll Consultant to support post-go-live stabilization and optimization of Workday HCM and Finance environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of payroll processes, focusing on deferred pay setup and costing accuracy
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve configuration gaps in Workday Payroll
• Document findings and provide training to ensure sustainable operations post-engagement

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting Workday Payroll in higher education or public sector environments
• Strong understanding of deferred pay, fringe benefit allocation, and Workday costing allocations
• Proven experience with Workday journal entries and payroll-to-finance integrations
• Deep knowledge of Workday business processes related to compensation and payroll
• Familiarity with GAAP standards as they apply to payroll and benefits accounting
